Confession....

Before I received my offer letter, I started furnishing my flat/apartment! Don't judge me!
Like for real, IKEA has always been a love of mine, but now...I can't stay off of the site! I've designed and redesigned at least 3 times now! I get upset when items are out of stock (like I'll be there to purchase them tomorrow *rolls eyes*).

I just can't help it! I love fashion, I love design, I love black and white with a bold color (like lime green :D) 

I even started my to pack list! LOL All my maxi dresses, and skirts 2 denim jackets, a few blazers (different styles of course), I made a mental note of my skirts for work that are BELOW the knee (oooh this one has made me take my fashion in a different direction). My students loved this pink skirt I wore last week. They said it gave them old school teacher! 

ALL of my cardigans as it may be cold in the building, or my shirt may be sleeveless (shhh don't tell on me!) Shoes! Don't forget shoes! Sandals, skippies, wedges, heels, I need them all! 

School supplies! I don't really like to mark in red ink, I LOVE purple fine point Sharpies, thanks to a friend of mine! Expo markers are a must, I hear the brand over there sucks! Dicot letters, colored copy paper, construction paper, do I need glue, scissors, what about hot glue guns, pipe cleaners? Ugh the supplies of a science teacher are endless! I need a new purple stapler as mine is on its last leg! 

Wait how many bags will I be allowed again? Aaaahhhh! I'm so far ahead in planning for the future, but I must remember to live for today and enjoy all of these next few months. Starting with my birthday this weekend! TURN UP!!!!!!

    LOL! Forget a packing list...I started packing for real! I took some stuff to goodwill and have already begun to lay out things that I am taking! I'm glad I am not by myself!!!

      I can't pack yet...I'm the type who will just need that "one" item somewhere deep in the bag.

Process Toward Progress

This has become my mantra in life. I have taken necessary steps to educate myself academically and professionally,  but I knew I needed to improve myself personally. My friends would describe me as a good person with a hard exterior. I believed I had good reason to be this way. I was once the person who was too kind and forgiving to everyone and my kindness was taken for weakness. Over time I began to look at life through tainted lenses. I take no mess, I am impatient,  and rarely believe in second chances. I'd fly off the handle and give you a piece of my mind with no regard of your feelings, or situation-- very apathetic.  A conversation with someone who was a "friend" at the time sort of made my oblivious music of life come to a screeching halt.
