Ready or Not, Here Comes Work

Tomorrow's the first day of PD! I'm thinking about what to wear: dress or pants, flats or wedges, bold lipstick or nude? Will I have a nice classroom? Please give me the older students! I know nothing about babies (8th grade and below).

What I'm most nervous about is over sleeping!  I haven't had a full night's rest in weeks, no months. It's been worse this last week, as I've gotten some sort of ailment. It's on its way out, but I'm stuck with this horrible cough especially at night that keeps me up to expectorate, or when I'm overheated, or when I'm hungry, or when I eat spicy foods (almost every meals), or happy, or indifferent.... Anyway! I'm scared I may oversleep, especially since the bus is leaving at 630a!!

Let's backtrack a bit: we've departed Abu Dhabi City and have made it to the Western region, Madinat Zayed to be exact.

Actually, at Tilal Liwa Hotel, but will be commuting to work for the next 38 days! I guess it'll be a while before we get our flats. I will enjoy this free laundry (only three items per day, and I missed today), three free square meals a day, and not having to clean (even though I find myself making up the bed, and I rarely did so at home *shrugs*). I think I like this hotel better than the first. It's a little more modern, and the room is not as huge. But it is in the middle of nowhere... like really no where. When I look out my window all I see is sand. Check the pics below!

A huge chess board! I wish I still knew how to play!

To the right is the bathroom.

Just...sand...
I should be sleeping...but the way my cough and nerves are set up....I just ironed FOUR outfits, and thought of two more while I uploaded my pics to this post! OK for real, I;m hitting the sack! Up in less than 5 hours! Wishe me luck tomorrow!
